onsemi is building a new team to support data warehouse solution for its new 12“ semiconductor manufacturing site at East Fishkill, NY. Here, modern chips for cars, cell phones, solar, battery storage and other applications are made. Data warehouse collects data from manufacturing systems and provides applications for statistical analysis and manufacturing process monitoring and automation. You can be part of a smaller team (~6 person) and be involved in development and support of wide range of application porfolio which includes: data collection from manufacturing equipment, transformation and load to Oracle Cloud DB using modern ETL tool and maintanance of local Oracle cluster for staging and reporting purposes. And/or support and development of web applications (Java) for data analysis and edit.

We are looking for a senior or medior candidate with database knowleadge, programming skills in any language and ability to maintain, execute and write scripts in bash. Ideal candidate will be able to work from the office at least 1-2 per week.

Performance Objectives

• support and development of web applications (Java) for data analysis and edit.

• University degree in IT or extensive experience with SW development.

• Database experience (SQL, PL/SQL) • Programming skills.

• Linux user experience • Self-reliance, problem solving skills, willingness to learn.

• Team player, able to work within remote international team.
