Surveillance Officer Job at Cimarron Casino Enterprises
Summary of Responsibilities:
Works under the general supervision of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Surveillance Director and is responsible for surveillance of Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma-owned casinos. Observes and reports findings to the Gaming Commission and law enforcement agencies, as appropriate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains daily activity logs and other related reports.
- Monitors casino cameras.
- Reports any questionable activity to Gaming Commission and law enforcement.
Required to become familiar with TICS (Tribal Internal Control Standards) , MICS (Internal control standards), policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must exhibit strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills with the ability to proactively deal with casino licensees.
- Ability to follow orders and directives readily.
- Ability to use good judgment and critical thinking skills to refer potential observations to Gaming and law enforcement.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.
- Must possess proficient technical skills in the use of computers and related software.
- Ability to multi-task and be able to pay attention to many things at the same time.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications:
- Must be able to maintain a Gaming License
Conditions of Employment:
The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma operates a drug-free workplace.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must submit to and pass applicable drug test.
Must apply for and pass criminal background check for Key Gaming License.
