Support Staff Job at Catholic Diocese of Lansing
St. Andrew Catholic School in Saline, Michigan is a new PreK through sixth grade school and is opening in August of the 2023-24 school year. In our inaugural year, we are seeking several support positions. This person will provide support in many ways. Support is needed in the office and other duties within the school. Duties might include but not limited to assistance with student supervision, classroom preparation, clerical help, and lunchroom/playground duties. Candidates must be at least 19 years of age with a high school diploma. Candidates must be of dependable, responsible, team-oriented character and have a passion for working with children of all developmental levels. This person will assist in promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for our students.
The following items are general expectations for this role:
- Be a positive representative of the school and the Catholic Faith community.
- Should have scheduling flexibility.
- Follow confidentiality requirements regarding children and families.
- Complete background check, CPR/First Aid Training, proper immunization and medical requirements required, complete Virtus Protecting God’s Children certification.
