SUMMARY

The Channel Manager will continuously evaluate the client’s supply chain flows, making recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and interactions with client and internal Armada stakeholders. This position will be a member of the account-facing team responsible for interfacing with the client on a variety of issues.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with client purchasing and supply management teams on opportunities involving freight and distribution
  • Support product category bids through landed-cost optimization analysis
  • Develop pricing parameters on freight lanes to ensure cost/revenue alignment
  • Coordinate communication of plan changes with cross-functional teams
  • Generate reports of business activity to distribute to client and internal teams
  • Ensures the health of the client’s freight variance account by working closely with Finance and Transportation Operations to report on changes to the account, root-cause analyze the reasons for change and works with appropriate parties to remedy adverse financial results.
  • Ensure data synchronization between client’s catalog, and internal planning and operations teams
  • Provide analytical support to our client’s strategic sourcing process and DC network RFP process
  • 24TRACC support; data maintenance, issue resolution & coordination, client & stakeholder user support
  • Proactively support the client with all desired product movement/inventory reporting, including one-off analytical needs (internally or externally requested)
  • Build and Maintain Internal and Client Relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience Requirement

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent business experience.
  • 1-3 years experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management
  • 1-3 years experience with data analysis

Preferred:

  • Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling tools
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview is a plus

Language and Technical Skills requirement

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clients
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access. Knowledge in SQL and ability to program Macros (VBA) is a plus.
  • Ability to aggregate, manipulate, and automate data
  • Data-driven, fact-based, detail oriented approach to analysis and problem solving
  • Strong Project Management skills and ability to work independently within a team environment
