MPS Group Inc. has a position open at the Claycomo Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant for a Supervisor responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine operations of waste management recycling activities for all production shifts including scheduled production weekends
JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor is responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine operation of pelletizer and processing scrap plastic through the machine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops TIS and review these safety documents with the crew This involves evaluating the safety hazards on the job and determining and enforcing the precautions, procedures and PPE needed.
- Maintain and generate teamwork schedule for time and attendance tracking.
- Evaluates and counsels employees on quality and
- Provides direction on equipment, materials and supplies to support the
- Act as a customer/client liaison and interface with other site supply partners including customer internal departments.
- Prepare and submit job reports as directed by the site manager, director and/or
- Make recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance,
- Receive and stow materials and supplies
- Inspect equipment to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pull out of service items that are damaged, broken or
- Conduct site inspections and Safety Tours
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Minimum 1 year of industry related experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing 10 or more employees
- Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures
- Forklift experience is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
