We are hiring immediately for Substance Use Disorder Professionals for Drug Court

We're in urgent need of Substance Use Disorder Professionals to join our passionate agency, plus, be part of the growing field of behavioral health services! Our open position in Drug Court based at our Corporate location on First Hill in Seattle. Interested candidates must be a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional.

Responsibilities of the Substance Use Disorder Professional:

  • Serves as the primary contact with participants and is responsible for screenings, evaluations and assessments.
  • Assess and identify the mental health and/or substance use issue and create a strategy and treatment plan.
  • Providing individual, group and substance use disorder counseling.
  • Ensure prompt, accurate clinical documentation including: screening, assessment, intake, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, progress notes, letters, referrals, and discharge summaries of terminated participants.
  • Consult as needed with the medical director, psychiatrist, ARNP, or mental health clinician on ongoing cases, screenings, and treatment planning.

Requirements of the Substance Use Disorder Professional in Drug Court:

  • WA State Department of Health Substance Use Disorders Professional certification (SUDP) 246-811 WAC, 18.205 RCW.
  • Unrestricted SUDP license.
  • Associate degree.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in chemical dependency and counseling.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Desire to work with diverse populations dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders as a Substance Abuse Counselor/Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.41 - $29.05 per hour
