The Creative Child Center at UConn Health in Farmington is looking for current COLLEGE STUDENTS with experience in a childcare environment. These are part-time positions with the opportunity to work full time in the summer months.
During the school semester we are looking for mid-day coverage, any hours 10:30-4:30/5:00.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in college.
- Must be able to verify current student status in a formal accredited program upon hire. Acceptable documentation to include either a course schedule listing the current term of enrollment, name of the educational institute and the student's name, or a letter from academic advisor on letterhead.
- High energy.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Excellent communication skills. .
- An understanding of child development.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification will be required upon hire.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Mandatory flu vaccine and Covid vaccine, per UConn Health.
Nice To Haves
Preferred Qualifications:
- Be enrolled enrolled in a degree program in a child-related field, especially early childhood education, elementary education, etc.
- Have at least 6 months experience in a childcare environment with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
