The Student Advocate position exists in order to assist teachers and parents in the intellectual, moral, physical, and spiritual education of their students. The goal of this position is to help each student reach his or her full potential in academic endeavors, social/emotional well-being, and in personal formation as Catholics. The administration, the faculty/staff and school families work together in supporting the Advocate, making this goal a reality for each student.
Responsibilities:
Mentoring of students 5-8
Mentoring of teachers
PD planning/presenting around discipline and student relationships
Support for Crew circles
Discipline program-implementation/monitoring
Liaison between teachers/parents
Social/emotional support for students/groups of students
After school programs
Guest Teaching
High School Liaison
