Currently seeking Structural Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for welding a variety of materials using MIG spray transfer techniques. You will be expected to set up and operate welding equipment, as well as perform visual inspections to ensure the quality of your work. Must be able to pass a weld test.

Responsibilities of the Structural Welder:

• Performs welding processes on aluminum, steel and other metals’ parts using welding metals and metal alloys.
• Welds parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Under general supervision, uses hand welding and flame cutting equipment such as arc welders, gas welders, and gas torches to weld together metal components (flat, horizontal, or vertical plates and pipes).
• Works from sketches, prints, operation sheets, preliminary drawings, and written/verbal instructions
• Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
• Performs welding in multiple positions (3G, 6G).
• Builds up worn and/or defected surfaces.
• Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.

Requirements of the Structural Welder:

• High school or equivalent
• 3-5+ years of verifiable experience
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• OSHA 10 is a plus but not a requirement
• Welding certifications are a plus but not a requirement
• Must be able to pass a drug test
