Structural Steel Detailer Job at HME, INC
Job Purpose:
HME is seeking an individual to assist in the design and drafting aspects of commercial structural steel projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection drawings
- Prepare calculations based on project requirements
- Analyze, design, and select appropriate member connections for projects
- Submit requests for information (RFIs) to customers
- Provide final checks of drawings to ensure compliance with contract documents
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate degree in drafting or similar education
- Experience with Auto/CAD and/or Tekla preferred
- Knowledge of miscellaneous metals
- Knowledge of current building codes and regulations
- Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
