JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This role will be responsible for providing vendor management related support to the Grid Modernization and Power Delivery program strategic partners. This person will support key partner relationships and assure the attainment of financial and operational targets, and delivery of contractual obligations. This role will help implement governance processes for managing our key partners and will be responsible for the day to day tracking, monitoring and reporting of partner related metrics and contract performance measures.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work based on experience.
  • Strong experience in vendor management, contracting, and contracting strategy is preferred. Experience in assessing vendor performance to contracts, tracking, monitoring and reporting on SLAs, KPIs, and various contract performance measures.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to gather, track and report on relevant metrics for Grid Modernization and Distribution Plan program.
  • Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the process of outsourced management and outsourced management trends.
  • Works with Supply Chain to support key outsourced partner relationships and contracts, including evaluating penalties, incentives, change requests, while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met.
  • Conducts and participates in regular business reviews with our partners, including performance penalties and rewards.
  • Develops internal standards, templates for working with partners to ensure strong performance management
  • Works with project managers, schedulers, project control managers, and cost analysts to provide, track and monitor partner/project financials.
  • Maintains awareness of project schedules and commitments based on contractual obligations (e.g. deliverables, milestones) to provide support to meet project schedules.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience, Master's Degree is a plus. MBA preferred. Vendor management experience preferred. Data and financial analysis experience is desirable. Utility industry experience a plus.

Minimum experience required of the position
Analyst I: 0-2 years of professional experience.
Analyst II: 2-4 years of professional experience.
Analyst III: 4-6 years of professional experience.
Analyst, Sr: 6-8 years of professional experience.
Analyst, Sr Lead: At least 8 years of professional experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
  • Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to achieve numerous goals in a timely manner, exercising good judgment and sound decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a very dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization with minimum supervision.
