Dept: Material Management 9550 Job class: Storeroom/Receiving Clerk: 92 Receiving Clerk Minimum Requirements • Must be 21 years of age • Heavy lifting required at times • Some computer skills required for the Receiving process • Organized and able to work in a warehouse environment Receiving Clerk Job Description • Correctly receive in all in-bound supplies that have gone through the PO process in our supply chain system • After the supplies have been received in, print the delivery tickets and attach them to the supplies showing their departments to be delivered. • Deliver supplies to departments located in the hospital • Put out the supplies that have been marked for the couriers to pick up and deliver to the off-site departments • Ensure all electronic supplies are received in and delivered directly to the I.T. department • Work with Purchasing on any paperwork/packing slip problems that come up through the Receiving process • Separate all supplies ordered for Central Supply so they can be stocked • Send all packing slips to Accounting the next day after they are received in • Assist with any out-bound shipments that need to ship out • Make an occasional delivery or pickup from an off-site department • Keep the storeroom in a neat and orderly fashion
