Gregorys Coffee was founded in 2006 with an ambitious spirit to challenge the status quo by seeing coffee differently. We source and roast our own coffee beans, produce all of our pastries in house, and take pride in serving specialty coffee to a diverse group of customers (known to us as our Gregulars!).

Gregorys Coffee Store Leader
We are looking for highly motivated and energetic individuals who share our passion for specialty coffee and hospitality. As
Store Leader, you will be empowered to take a hands-on approach to driving the business while working closely with your
District Leader to implement creative strategies to continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Store Leader, you will be a brand ambassador and beacon of culture for both your team and your customers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the below key areas.

People Development

You will:

  • Create a warm and inclusive environment for your team and your customers
  • Work alongside your team to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art (we’ll teach you!)
  • Hire and train new team members while validating their ability to confidently uphold brand standards
  • Provide ongoing education and development for all team members, to ensure excellent standards for coffee, food, and customer service are consistently upheld
  • Oversee people metrics, such as retention and internal growth, through performance management and succession planning
  • Adhere to local and state labor laws

Operations Standards

You will:

  • Oversee the store’s coffee & beverage program by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executed
  • Oversee the store’s food program–including fresh baked pastries, hot sandwiches, and grab & go–by conducting quality checks and providing continuous team education to ensure brand standards are consistently executed
  • Oversee the store’s food safety and cleanliness protocols, ensuring compliance with the Department of Health
  • Oversee all cash handling policies, including making deposits
  • Role model excellent customer service to build a community of Gregulars within your store

Financial Performance

You will:

  • Be empowered to manage the business of your store to achieve financial success
  • Creatively action plan to increase sales while coaching your team to achieve new targets
  • Manager labor metrics through strategic scheduling practices, managing payroll processes, and planning for efficient deployment of team members across all dayparts
  • Manage inventory metrics (COGS) through strategic ordering practices and order management practices
  • Action plan with your District Leader to problem solve and continuously improve

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
