We are seeking a Stock Associate to join our New York Flagship Boutique.

Overall Mission

You may work behind the scenes, but as a key player of the retail team, your role is very important to driving sales. You ensure shipment is accurately received, neatly stocked, and consistently maintained for our stylists, and you're willing to help the team where needed. The more organized the stockroom, the quicker the sales team can find products and provide the customer a great in-store experience. Your accurate and efficient work in the stockroom ensures your success because you've set the sales team up for success.

Essentail Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supports sales team in maximizing the shopping experience for customers.
  • Assists in processing all inventory movements between store and distribution.
  • Participates and supports Physical Inventory planning and execution.
  • Maintains high back-of-house standards. Takes initiative to maintain the highest level of organization and efficiency.
  • Supports and administers receipt and dispatch of merchandise and supplies according to company standards. Process merchandise ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment of the sales floor. Reorganizes merchandise as needed to maximize stockroom space.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels by ensuring all sizes and styles are replenished on sales floor according to high visual standards.
  • Participates in visual directives including promotional setups, to help provide the optimal customer experience.
  • Assists in price changes and mark-downs; reports any POS issues as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of retail stock experience
  • Treat all management and team-members with respect to support a healthy and positive team environment that values open dialogue and creative solutions
  • Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Self-starter, dependable, punctual, flexible
  • Ability to kneel, stoop, climb ladders, use stairs, reach, pull and lift weights of usually 5-30 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a retail schedule – available evenings (not overnight) weekends and holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
