Reports to: Store Manager and Inventory Control Manager
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $20/hr. - $22/hr.
What You’ll Do
Product knowledge
- Maintains high level of product knowledge, ability to pull and/or edit product information when needed within inventory or for other departments
- Participation in weekly cycle counts + research on variance; strong understanding of systems, common errors, and investigating discrepancies
Product movement
- Support of store to store transfers, requests from various departments from the corporate office and receiving incoming shipment from factory
- Receiving and quality checking all incoming products for NYC (factory, allocation, press returns), reporting on any factory issues. First line of defense on product quality.
- Performs allocation to other locations as initiated by merchandising team.
- Assists in fulfilling online orders from store when needed, ensuring that product is quality checked and order is completed accurately in system
- Monitors daily sales in order to restock the floor efficiently
Product handling
- Backstock of product to the correct place quickly and efficiently
- Damage approval, processing, and reporting as part of quality assurance
Who You Are
- Prior jewelry and piercing experience welcomed but not required.
- Previous luxury retail experience a plus, with back of house inventory experience preferred.
- Experience with Magento, Teamwork CHQ, Teamwork POS or similar POS or inventory management systems welcomed.
- Strong attention to detail; focused and organized
- Adaptable, problem solver
- Works as an integral part of the inventory control team to support company growth
