Statistician Job at TMF Health Quality Institute
*This position is on Analytics team located Remote, Anywhere US*
Position Purpose:
Performs complex (journey-level) mathematical statistical work. Establishes project goals, statistical standards, data quality measurement guidelines, and procedures for maintaining the highest quality of information. Works under general supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Determines method for gathering data and designs processes for data collection.
- Develops statistical methodologies for projects that meets project or contract standards.
- Uses statistical software and a variety of statistical methods to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
- Compares and analyzes statistical information to identify patterns, trends, relationships and problems.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, mathematics or related discipline and Four (4) years’ experience applying methods of statistical sampling and interpreting the results.
- PhD degree in statistics, mathematics or related discipline and One (1) year experience applying methods of statistical sampling and interpreting the results.
