Overview:We have one full-time Staffing Scheduler position working in our Human Resources department. This position is Monday-Friday (8:30a-5:00p).

River’s Edge Hospital follows the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) COVID-19 vaccine mandate that requires all hospital staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All mandated persons are required to show proof of vaccination or have received an exemption from River’s Edge through the prescribed exemption process for disability, medical, or religious reasons.
Responsibilities:

• Work with department managers to establish staffing patterns and schedules for all departments.
• Works with human resources for staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.
• Interprets human resource policies for all staff.
• Participates in in-service training.
• Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.
• Provides backup for bi-weekly payroll process. Reviews timecards, enter time distribution in the payroll system, and run the payroll process. Process direct deposit data with the bank. Identify and correct time distribution, deduction, and payment issues.
• Helps managers with bi-weekly timesheets as needed.
• Has knowledge of union contract and follows the contract while scheduling employees.

Qualifications:

• Good typing and mathematics skills.
• Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.

Minimum Salary: USD $18.99/Hr. Maximum Salary: USD $21.25/Hr.
