The Staff Accountant position is a unique opportunity to join a growing company in a strategic role that assists the overall operation. The right candidate for this position will be organized, detail oriented, possess strong systems knowledge and feel comfortable interacting with hotel leaders on a regular basis.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• General cashier duties which include but are not limited to managing and reconciling the house banks and bank deposits
• Processing accounts payable invoices for payment after reconciling against purchase orders
• Reconcile Purchasing Credit Card transactions and expense reports
• Assist in the month-end closing process, reconcile un-invoiced report, Open PO report and post monthly accrual journal
• Assist with reporting and preparation of account reconciliations
• Manage A/R month-end procedure
• Review, investigate, and analyze General Ledger variance
• Assist with year-end audit process and reporting
• Facilitate special reporting and analysis projects
• Review preliminary financial statements with Assistant Director of Finance
• Support during MOR audits
