Staff Accountant
Liberty Petroleum Distributors has an opening for a Staff Accountant with excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Candidates should be able to prioritize multiple projects, work well alone or as part of a team, as well as be outcome-oriented and results focused.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills and the willingness to learn are essential.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Strong written and oral communications skills, ability to manage multiply projects simultaneously, and strong organizational and analytical skills necessary.
- Demonstrates ability to handle information in a sensitive and confidential manner.
Duties:
- Create monthly general ledger transactions
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Assist in inter-company calculations, transactions and reconciliations
- Review financial transactions and general ledger entries prepared by accounting personnel
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Support accounts payable with any accounting questions
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 3-5 years’ experience in accounting required.
