Staff Accountant Job at Northland Counseling Center, Inc.
Position: Staff Accountant
Status: .5 to 1.0 FTE
Job Duties – Perform general accounting functions to support timely reporting of agency financial data.
Qualifications:
· An associate’s degree required and a Bachelor’s degree preferred (accounting, finance, business) or 4+ years related experience
· Able to work most hours on a computer and at a desk required
· Knowledge of general ledger functions
· Experience with various accounting software and software implementation preferred
· Able to easily utilize new technologies as required
· Experience with month end closing
· Experience with financial statement preparation
Job Duties:
· Perform account reconciliations
· Post journal entries and transactions
· Calculate program allocations
· Develop system for timely month end closing of general ledger
· Able to work onsite
· Assist with other duties as assigned
