Our client, a Real Estate firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing Finance team. Responsibilities include preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting the monthly close process for all subsidiaries and related companies. The ideal candidate will come with at least two years of staff accountant experience from the real estate or construction industry.
Responsibilities:
· Review and analyze the general ledger, assist with financial statements and prepare recurring monthly and quarterly journal entries
· Create and review invoices as well as liaise with vendors throughout the process
· Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end work papers
· Assist in the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
· 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate or construction
· Ability to handle multiple tasks, and to work independently in an organized manner
· Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
· Excellent Excel skills

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
