Stadium Operations Manager

Specifically responsible for setting that example both internally and externally while holding yourself and others accountable for their work performance along with their contribution to our culture.
This position is to provide support to their entire Stadium Operations and Facilities department by working together to create and implement programs and/or procedures that the organization puts in place and effectively communicate to the entire front office staff. The Stadium Operations Manager is also responsible for providing coaching and guidance as needed to help the staff continue to grow while staying true to our mission/vision and team norms. In addition, it is important to continue to increase the bottom line by creating sales and saving on expenses.

Facility Operations
Facility Operations
- Assist the Sr. Manager of Facilities with daily, weekly, and monthly processes to ensure the building is maintained at a high level.
- Participate in opening, closing, and game-day staffing rotations.
- Work to establish trade agreements with vendors to reduce expenses as it relates to stadium operations and game day set up.
- Along with the Sr. Manager of Facilities and Assistant General Manager, create systems that allow the Fisher Cats to establish a consistent and sustainable schedule of facility maintenance while considering both budget and long-term repairs and improvements.
Stadium Operations
- Serve as the “go-to” for event set up procedures, both for Fisher Cats home games and other scheduled events at Delta Dental Stadium.
- During game days, ensure all the required in stadium elements are prepared in advance and communicated with relevant stakeholders.
- Create and distribute homestand sheets and Special Event Orders (SEO), while maintaining master calendars and schedules with consistent updates as needed.
- Alert food and beverage provider, groundskeeping team, and all others of upcoming events and associated requests.
- Help support all other internal departments with set-up and activations.
Ballpark Events
- Work with the Assistant General Manager to execute special events at the stadium throughout the year.
- Ensure city/state approvals are being met and all scheduling follows proper procedures.
- Work alongside department administrator to provide adequate staffing for each event.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and organizational skills, be highly motivated, and multi-task
- Position requires strong attention to detail and follow through
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Staff management
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays in an outdoor environment is required.
