Our Service team is seeking a Dispatcher to provide white glove service to our customers and support our service technician team. Organization Structure and Interfaces:

Reports to: Director of Service Operations

Primary Interfaces: Customers, Polk Service Technicians & Service Office Team

Environment:

  • Multi-location: office based position with support of a large distributed workforce
  • Pace: constant changing targets and quick turnaround is essential due to shifting priorities, changing client needs and project specifications
  • Demographic diversity: workforce enjoys a wide range of diversification associated with ethnicity, culture, position qualifications, socio-economic background, geographical differences, white & blue collar, etc.

Success Factors:

  • Front Line Communicator: You will be the face of our service department, generating service calls and communicating by phone and email with customers, sales representatives, vendors and service technicians. Working closely with the service managers to coordinate technicians, subcontractors and customer requests to determine schedule and dispatch workers to jobs while managing information in the dispatch system. Monitoring service technicians workload and capacity throughout the day and reviewing all Open Calls on a daily basis to ensure timely response and customer notification. Verifying field payroll and processing on a weekly basis.
  • Customer Service & Team Dynamic: You will be a part of a fast growing dynamic group of people, and must have a positive customer focused attitude. A collaborative mindset and performance focused positive attitude will be essential to success on our team. Following up with customers promptly while maintaining quality customer service is essential.
  • Fast Paced Team Player: Ideal candidate can handle the wear and tear of a fast paced environment, and will wear multiple hats at once while still remaining successful. Must be able to think creatively, and change direction as needed to meet goals. You will have the ability to prioritize different projects and customer needs while communicating effectively, remaining organized and detail focused.
