Role & Function

The US Immunology Senior Product Manager is responsible for providing commercial support and direction for brand marketing strategy and tactics execution. This is a critical role with impact and visibility across departments and works intimately with key stakeholders within the organization. Preference for this position to be based in Sobi North America’s Waltham, MA headquarters or Durham, NC office .** Remote work may be considered for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate ability to understand the immunology therapeutic area, multiple disease states, and competitive landscape
  • Support implementation of the commercial marketing plan focusing on key HCP and patient segments across multiple mediums, including digital/omnichannel
  • Demonstrate and implement effective project management to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and support business objectives
  • Manage external vendors to ensure consistency of strategies, messages, and tactics
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues: sales, sales training, medical affairs, regulatory, compliance, market access, patient services, and promotional review committee
  • Manage the commercial budget for marketing team
  • Congresses: Support the strategy and execution of national & regional congresses
    • Booth design, development, and logistics
    • Coordination and communication with field and Commercial Operations teams
  • Speaker Bureau: Support the execution of speaker programs, including all aspects of material development, training and measuring ROI
  • Advisory Boards: Support development and execution of national and regional advisory boards
    • Partner with Thought Leader Liaisons in KOL identification and engagement plan
  • Community Engagement: Partner with patient advocacy to support community organizations and events.
  • Franchise Plan: Contribute to development of annual franchise plan strategy and tactics
  • SRC Review: Represent marketing in the medical, legal, regulatory promotional reviews, proactively engaging reviewers outside of meetings as needed
  • Contracting and Vendor Management: Oversees vendor contracting process for the marketing team, assembly of monthly accruals, and HCP contracting
  • Contribute to planning and execution of internal sales meetings (NSM, POA)
  • Act as primary contact for marketing asset inventory and fulfillment
  • Measure and assess impact and performance of marketing tactics against goals; adjust plans accordingly
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the professional societies focused within therapeutic space


Qualifications and Skills Required:


  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred
  • 2-5+ years of experience in marketing/sales preferably in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to partner well with cross-functional partners to deliver business needs

  • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and mastery in creating exceptional presentations
  • Experience in using Veeva Vault
  • Must have strong planning, project management and organization skills
  • Experience in managing complex projects through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory approval process
  • Ability to exercise strong judgement and live up to high ethical and compliance standards
  • Strong self-starter, able to prioritize workload, coordinate cross-functional support, and lead others to meet multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills
  • Travels as needed: 10-20%
