Position Overview: Situated at our beautiful, beachfront North Kingstown, Rhode Island facility, the Senior Electrical Design Engineer will have deep electronics design history and excellent product development experience. This exciting leadership role will collaborate with their colleagues to deliver robust power electronics to support LED lighting electronics, in-pool robotic motor drives and power systems, sensor conditioning and controls, and automation of next generation pool electrical systems from pumps and heaters to Internet-of-Things (IoT) RF integration.

Responsibilities

  • Concept to product delivery of innovative, robust consumer products
  • Simulate concepts to improve development design cycles
  • Lead the development of new system requirements
  • Collaborate with multiple teams
  • Document product design and organize data
  • Clear presentations at key milestones
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, reliability, and test organizations to deliver successful, on-time products

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of active electrical engineering product design required
  • Leadership experience to ensure high quality completion of electrical engineering design projects
  • Experience with electrical standards, EMC and compliance strongly desired
  • Experience with analog circuit board design is required
  • Electrical component behaviors and performance understanding
  • Experience with plusOne, Altium, OrCAD, IoT, Eagle, Mentor, Multisim, MatLab, LTSpice
  • Project management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to estimate scope, timelines, and cost
  • Embedded system experience
  • Occasional travel is required

Education

  • BSEE required with 10+ years of active electrical engineering product design

OR

  • MSEE degree with 8+ years of active electrical engineering product design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $144,000.00 per year
