Jacksons is looking for a highly motivated and driven Sr Compensation Analyst to join our growing Human Resource team. In this role you will help develop and execute company compensation strategy and approach. You will evaluate and price company positions utilizing external market data and internal grade structures. You will contribute to various compensation projects, perform research, and help develop solutions. You will conduct analysis and interpretation related to the organizations' compensation programs.

Some of what you’ll do as a Sr. Compensation Analyst:
  • Evaluate the organization's jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions.
  • Contribute organizational data to and analyze results of compensation surveys.
  • Conduct market analysis of company jobs to determine competitive positioning of the organization's pay programs.
  • Participate in annual salary administration programs, including salary structure creation and maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets.
  • Participate in the administration of annual performance management, incentive, or salary increase programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a compensation related field.
  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.
  • Demonstrated success in linking corporate strategy to the development of leadership strategies and programs.
  • A history of accepting change and responding to setbacks positively and with minimal disruption and the ability to take on a variety of different tasks and roles within the organization. Learns quickly when facing new problems: experiments and will try anything to find solutions; embraces the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
  • Experience communicating effectively and professionally with supervisor, co-workers, and all other departments.
  • The ability to respond actively and sensitively to customer needs and problems.
  • A history of adhering to work schedules and reports to work on time. Completes all assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency with the job requirements, work environment, and customer needs. Completes work with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions that favorably affect work performance and customer service.
  • An ability to work effectively and efficiently. Well organized. Prioritizes work properly. Makes few errors.
  • A cooperative attitude and works well with all employees.
Physical Environment:
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
