Key Task & Accountabilities

· Assist in providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware escalated from Service Desk

· Install and configure, manage, and upgrade operating system in cloud, keeping budget constraints inline

· Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage in cloud environment

· Configuration of network security of the cloud systems

· Add and maintain users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards

· Monitors and analyzes the capabilities and performance of the cloud systems

· Integrate systems into the computing environment

· All the necessary assistance to the cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting

· maintain system security strategies, policies, and procedures

· Assist with cost analysis for moving on-prem resources to the cloud

· Work with DevOps teams as needed with configurations, analysis, or security

· Work with Security team to ensure security practices are in place and maintained as changes require

· Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a quarterly basis

· Utilize technology to provide staff with a fast, accurate and secure method of gaining access to information so they can service the associate in the fastest and most efficient manner possible

· Manage and maintain Active Directory tree and structure

· Monitor load balance on servers and make recommendations accordingly

· Maintain Disaster Recovery site availability within RTO/RPO time requirements

· Create and maintain physical and virtual hardware to include Dell Servers, VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco Switches and routers, Cisco Meraki Firewalls, Palo Alto VPN and Azure servers

· Create and maintain backup strategy for all systems to facilitate RTO/RPO requirements

· Maintain Network performance and work with departments to implement new technologies

· Other assigned duties by supervisor

· Manage cloud infrastructure services and cloud servers

· Leads, oversees, and maintains, multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization

· Interacts & provides support to all levels of management and teams within a wide range of related topics

· Develop, configure, implement, and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform

· Establishes and executes the cloud operations as per the specifications and parameters

· Work in coordination with the IT department to develop and support cloud, windows, or Unix infrastructure

· Participate in Team meetings, providing input and suggestions, and prepare minutes of discussion items

· Provide written document monthly which defines upcoming needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong working knowledge of Azure, Active Directory, AWS, Security, and Hyperconverged technology

· Experience maintaining High availability environments

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

· Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers

· Strong organization and prioritizing skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Sitting for long periods of time

· Typing /filing

· Ability to lift 65 lbs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.

· 3-5 years’ experience in virtualized high availability environment

· Cisco, VMware, and Cloud Certifications a plus

· Experience with Hyperconverged technology is a plus
