Job description:
- Writing clean, well tested, secure code based on project requirements
- Assisting in the development of server-side logic and technologies for handling the import, inventory, and management of large datasets.
- Developing frameworks to assist in the deployment of engineering and analysis tools across a variety of operational domains
- Ensuring high performance and high availability access to mission-critical data
Required Skills:
- 3+ years developing in python
- 1+ years working with databases such as PostgreSQLExperience with python web and database technologies such as flask and sqlalchemy, as well as data & visualization libraries such as numpy, pandas, and matplotlib
- Experience utilizing pytest unit test framework
- Moderate to expert level understanding of Linux
- Experience deploying applications locally and with cloud services using Docker containers
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to work with frontend developers to apply them
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Boto3, and experience writing AWS integration libraries in python
Education:
- B.S. degree in the field of computer science or equivalent relevant experience
