The Spooling Operator is responsible to operate the spooling machines.

At beginning of shift, the Spooling Operator will perform a fallacy check comparing the card number with yarn package at each position. They will record the data onto the check-off sheet located at the beginning of each machine row. They will tie the end of yarn around the spool, remove the spool from the cradle, and place it onto the spool pin. They will tie and knot the yarn ends together and clip the loose tails of the yarn with snippers. They will creel full packages into the machine, thread yarn through the pigtail, guides, nip roller, and knot both ends of yarn together. They will initiate the spooling machine and remove empty tubes and place them on tube stands as needed. If the machines break down, they will flag the position for the service person to repair. Move and stage trays of spools.

What is my earning potential?

We now offer new competitive hourly rates starting at $14.19 with top pay up to $14.19. In addition, our updated enhanced shift premiums of $1.00 for 12-hour night shifts.
