Spanish Interpreter Job at South Coast Business Employment Corp

The Spanish Interpreter is responsible for assisting volunteers for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. They will assist in the tax preparation process by translating for our LatinX community during the intake/interview process and if necessary for any follow up questions that may arise during the preparation process. They will also provide translation services during the final review and efile process.
The Spanish Translation Assistant will work as required by the needs of the VITA program. The VITA Program Manager will set the schedule as the need arises and notify the Spanish Translation Assistant no less than five days (5) before they are needed to report to the service location for translation services.

Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Pass a Background Check
