Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sourcing of materials, equipment, and services through the RFQ process.
• A disciplined approach for reducing total costs of purchased materials, goods and services and improving levels of quality, service, and value to the business.
• Develop commodity strategies that encompass sourcing and cost saving initiatives.
• Researching new products or services offered by competitors to identify potential opportunities for growth in existing markets.
• Managing RFQ process with existing/potential suppliers for new product development and cost saving initiatives.
• Negotiation & Supplier Selection, Sourcing Implementation.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions with vendors, including pricing, payment schedules, and delivery conditions.
• Data review and analysis: Reviewing bids from potential suppliers to determine which offers the best value to the company.
• Communicates clearly, concisely, and effectively; is results oriented.
• Demonstrates appropriate self-directed behaviors, such as: sets priorities and time management, balance requests and proposes to effectively meet customer service expectations.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience with sourcing/global cost saving initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Advanced level Excel required
• SAP experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Has leadership skills needed to collaborate within and across Business and influence others.
