Our company is currently seeking a Solar Consultant to recommend the right solar energy solution for our customers. It is vital for this position to be a self-starter and proactive in working with customers, as well as communicating with the rest of the company. As a Solar Consultant, you will have a great opportunity to improve energy consumption. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the solution that best fits customer needs. You should possess excellent communication skills, as you’ll need to work closely with our Sales team to coordinate and schedule meetings with customers. You will perform customer-serving tasks, like providing installation services, completing paperwork and explaining the benefits of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers based on the relative wealth of a region, home size and type, and the area’s climate.
- Compile a list of potential customers and arrange meetings to discuss the benefits of solar power.
- Review customer history and determine potential for subscription.
- Make sales calls to potential customers and present solar power as a viable alternative to conventional energy sources.
- Provide information about the advantages of installing solar panels (e.g. financial savings, reduced carbon footprint, no installation cost).
- Create a proposal for solar power installation with expected costs and benefits.
- Meet with customers to discuss required paperwork and to provide an itemized quote for services.
- Assist customer in signing necessary paperwork and prepare payment plans.

Pay: $85,294.00 - $100,323.00 per year
