As a Software Engineer you will work closely with our Product team to maintain and enhance features in our V1 platform. We are looking for a team member who is early into their career, who is passionate about development and continuing to learn.

We are a Microsoft shop. Our V1 platform is a monolith built on top of Azure using .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server and Angular.js. If you don't have experience in these technologies but are interested in learning something new, our team of experienced engineers are here to help.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work within an agile scrum team
  • Participate in user story planning and grooming
  • Perform maintenance, support and bug-fixes
  • Develop and test feature enhancements
  • Write unit and integration tests

Minimum Qualifications (education, experience)

  • Basic knowledge of Java, C#, .Net, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Hands-on experience or bachelor’s degree or minor in Computer Science or equivalent training or course work experience

Key Skills

  • Problem Solving - Ability to analyze and work through a problem effectively and provide a solution.
  • Time Management- Effectively manages time to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Communication - Communicates accurately and effectively both in oral and written form.
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Nice to have: Experience in the Microsoft stack or Angular.js.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.

Contact with the public in office environments may risk exposure to irrational/hostile behavior, contagious diseases, or contact with domestic animals.

COVID-19 considerations: employees have the ability to work from home during this time; coming into the office is currently optional. We anticipate returning to normal in-office operations as soon as is generally safe to do so.

Physical Demands & Requirements

Routine operation of a computer and other office equipment.

Regular identification, input, and analysis of data on a computer terminal and/or in hard copy.

Frequent communication in-person and by telephone or video conference with employees, customers, vendors, and others.

Generally required to remain stationary for extended periods of time, and occasionally exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects.

Ability to secure and maintain a driver’s license, or an acceptable alternative means of transportation.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
