** 4 - 6 month Contract**We’re looking for talented hard-working software developers who can work in an Agile environment, developing and implementing solutions for complex automation scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a cross-functional Agile team to develop network automation front-end software
- Iterate existing automation and web service platforms
- Participate in defining and refining software development standards and architecture
- Validate internally and externally developed application code
- Evaluate 3rd party applications and platforms
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development
- RESTful API development and consumption
- Experience with Python, Node.js
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to think critically and apply that to new and existing architecture
- Working knowledge of DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Git
- Good team-player willing to collaborate and assist others or proactively seek assistance as needed
- Adaptable, and have the ability to effectively prioritize
Preferred skills
- Jinja2, Javascript, HTML
- YAML, JSON, HOCON, NETCONF YANG
- Familiarity with Linux
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and Postgres
- Experience in the service provider (telecom) space
- Blue Planet MDSO, MCP
- Experience with Network Inventory Systems
- Experience with networking or networking automation
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $32.37 - $40.50 per hour
