Job Description:

The Service Delivery Consultant - Software Monitoring Analyst is a member of the Software License Compliance (SliC) team within the Global Technology Change and Third Party team. The primary goal of the SLiC team is to mature the Bank’s processes and tools to ensure software license compliance to contractual requirements and the team is focused on identifying, escalating, monitoring, and preventing commercial software risk. This role is accountable for ensuring assigned license portfolio is compliant to contractual terms, standards, conditions and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Following risk framework assessments and schedules, conduct reviews of license data and make the necessary adjustments to ensure integrity of the information is sound, accurate and complete (ie license refresh procedures)
  • In addition to determining license positions, ensure over and underutilization is tracked and communicated
  • When risks are found and validated, ensure that turn over for remediation is completed and support any actions plans identified by LOB
  • As new contracts and purchases flow through Intake function, review and interpret to properly onboard licenses into the FlexNet tool
  • Support data management, system reporting, process improvements and problem resolution for assigned license portfolio and function
  • Conduct research, investigate workflows and analyze business procedures to locate deficiencies and recommend changes
  • Prepare and generate statistical reports, graphs, numeric data and metrics for Executives, Operational managers, Technical Product managers, etc.
  • Improve Software License Monitoring’s productivity and procedures by identifying defects in our business process models and daily operations
  • Coordinate with other functional teams, where applicable, to assess work process impacts to SLiC

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management or contract compliance

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Procurement software contracts negotiation, software sourcing and/or software procurement including purchase orders
  • Knowledge of software compliance tools, specifically Flexera, BMC Discovery, Microsoft CM
