Link Solutions is seeking a Software Architect to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland.

The Software Architect will design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing software and serve as a technical expert addressing problems around systems integration and compatibility across multiple platforms within a system-of-systems environment.

As the Software Architect, you will assist with full life cycle support for critical systems in both operational and test environments and maintain responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of the system and all corresponding software applications through the performance of software engineering activities, including supporting development across multiple labs and systems and implement security and data assurance into the system. This includes applying knowledge of diverse systems, platforms, and programming languages.

You will be required to interface with team members and stakeholders on new and existing software requirements. Leverage your knowledge of computing systems, software architectures and structures, and Graphic User Interface (GUI) development. Support system and application test reviews and user acceptance activities and work under general or little supervision in a dynamic team environment in support of the Project Manager Intelligence Systems and Analytics (PM IS&A).

• Active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required.
• BA/BS or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree requirement.

Preferred:

• Experience performing software validation analysis, defining, and documenting test plans.
• Experience with software development, including design, testing, development, and integration.
• Experience as a senior software architect in Web-based systems architecture and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with developing service-oriented architectures.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment performing work designing, writing, editing, modifying, and debugging code.
• Experience with reviewing government guidance, including task orders, directives, STIGS, or IAVAs for applicability and implementation.
• Experience in interacting with end users and providing customer support.
