Eliot's Group Home supporting adolescent males referred by the Department of Children and Families or Department of Mental Health is seeking an independently licensed Clinician (or clinician who will be licensed within 6 months of hire) with two years of experience with similar populations providing social and mental health services. Our ideal candidate will make a difference by leading a team of family members, natural supports, and professionals, including direct care staff to help meet the needs of the youth and family.

You will work with adolescent males to understand their strengths and needs and provide the family and the team with psychoeducation, therapeutic interventions, and case management. Your responsibilities would include the completion of comprehensive assessments and safety plans, development, and implementation of a client-centered individual treatment plan and training of staff in the implementation and maintenance of the model of care. You will have the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with various child-serving agencies including the behavioral health system, the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Mental Health, the education system, and local community resources.

The program is contracted with the Department of Children and Families and provides a safe, structured, and respectful environment for youth to thrive, change, and grow by focusing on treatment, skill-building, and permanency.

Responsibilities:

  • Support trauma-informed care utilizing ARC (Attachment, Regulation. And Competency) treatment framework with a commitment to Family Driven and Youth Guided practice in the therapeutic milieu.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that respond to the needs and diversity of the youth and family. Review progress and facilitate family treatment team meetings.

  • Act as a team leader in coordinating care for youth and families, including implementing individualized, strengths-based treatment plans, coaching effective interventions to increase skills and capacity, and coordinating community-based services.

  • Collaborate with the family and program team to provide treatment and implementation of effective systems including daily routines, behavior support, and safety plans.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 10 am-6 pm
