We’re seeking a multi-talented Social Media Specialist/Photographer and Salon Gatekeeper to combine their love for design and photography with a passion for connecting with current and future customers via social media and in-person. This stellar individual is confident in their ability to provide a fabulous first and last impression of the salon by maintaining positive client relations and implementing front desk policies and procedures.

An all-around skillful photographer, social media specialist and salon coordinator who:

• Engages with customers daily, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers

• Must be flexible and detail-oriented to keep up with the fast pace of constantly changing inventory

• Is the visual storyteller--translating the ambiance of the store, the vibe, the people

• Is the brand gatekeeper ensuring that the image and style of the company is always projected

• Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off

• Practices superior time management between online and instore duties

• Create a regular publishing schedule submitted weekly for approval

• Upload photographs to our online Content Management System for review and collaboration with Marketing Team

• Maintain excellent writing and language skills

• Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format

• Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content

• Photographing, designing and staging stunning visuals to showcase products and services

• Promptly responds to customers’ inquiries via telephone, email, and text

• Understands the need to maximize the appointment calendar through efficient booking and scheduling

• Establishes a rapport and builds relationships with the team and clients

• Implements the salon marketing strategies for the front desk and telephone

• Maintains abreast with the current promotion and adheres to the usability of coupon code

• Knowledgeable of the services, duration, and pricing

• Orders and tracks inventory for office supplies, front desk supplies, and drying station supplies. Display and stock retail area. Implement monthly specials and promotions within the salon

• Maintains the cleanliness of the entire salon. Willing to perform light cleaning duties such as mopping floors, washing cups, etc.

• Meet with management on a routine basis to report marketing, booking, and customer service issues. Report all data pertaining to technicians and the entire body of staff to the Management

• Accountable for balanced cash-out reports

Goal Metrics

• Minimum 2 Instagram and FB post per day. Instagram posts may be fed to FB

• Minimum of 2 live selling videos per week identifying best-selling times of the day to increase sales

• 3 Reels videos per week

• 1 post to IG stories daily

• 2 TikTok videos per week

Skills Summary

• Is a team player, works well with team members and management at all levels and can guide and instruct online media material (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)

• Previous experience in retail preferred (salon/spa background is a plus)

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as needed

• Friendly, outgoing demeanor willing to jump in an be with clients and staff members

• Goal-driven with ability to multi-task in a faced-paced environment

• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and store employees

• Ability to demonstrate strong client-focused service on and off the floor

• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate

• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction and meet deadlines on tasks/projects
