JOB SCOPE: to cover mountain ski trails with snow using various methods of snowmaking and equipment
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: To work as part of a team, to provide the highest quality and most consistent man-made snow in the East. It is a physically demanding position that requires being in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time. This position requires timely and reliable attendance. This is a physically demanding job.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A snowmakers duties include, but are not limited to:
Setting up, maintaining , and breaking down snow making equipment as directed by the Manager
Routing and retrieving hoses and power cords
Monitoring pressures throughout the snowmaking system
Any other duties as assigned
