We are looking for an Assistant Site Director who exudes creativity and resilience to create an environment for youth that inspires, motivates, and engages youth. This position is responsible for the safety, security and well-being of each child enrolled in the ASES program. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a drive to help them realize their fullest potential. Assistant Site Director - ASES performs administrative duties in the Site Director - ASES absence for up to 5 consecutive days.

Zamorano Elementary for AM and PM shifts in Bay Terraces, San Diego, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Open/close the site as required
Maintain a clean and orderly designated school space
Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of students enrolled in the program
Responsible for picking-up, maintaining and returning all devices being used during distance learning and remote working
REQUIREMENTS
-
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must pass CAPE test or have a minimum of 48 college units
Must have either a minimum of 6 completed units in child development, elementary and/or middle school education, recreation or related field
or
a minimum of 6 months documented work experience in an ASES program
A minimum of 1 year experience working in an after school or group childcare setting with elementary aged children
* All assistant site directors are required to sub throughout San Diego County as needed.
*All employees begin at the starting rate regardless of experience.
