About the Position: We are looking for a Shop Helper (full-time, first shift) to join our team. This individual will work in conjunction with multiple departments to complete tasks for our fabrication facility while also working on special projects, routine building and grounds maintenance, as well as cross-training in other areas of the production departments.

Experience Required:

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience within a similar environment
• Familiarity with safety precautions in a manufacturing environment
• Must be reliable, willing to work in multiple areas as needed
• Willing to cross-train and assist in all areas of building maintenance and production

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the upkeep up preventative maintenance schedule for equipment & machinery
• Help associates in multiple departments in ensuring the production floors and work areas have met cleanliness standards of the company
• Complete building & grounds maintenance on the fabrication facility, neighboring office building & campus
• Work on special maintenance and department projects as needed
• Assist in loading and unloading products from production equipment
• Willing to clean and remove slag from production machines (this process ensures machines are operable and functioning properly)
• Maintain and assist in cleanliness and organization of the building
