The Facility Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of a variety of administrative tasks associated with the facility's shipping and receiving process. Requires Forklift Certification, and prior experience printing manifests and manifesting hazardous waste. Our facility is a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to change directions quickly during the day, multi-task, and work effectively as a team with limited supervision. We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented individual with excellent administrative skills to join our team in La Porte, TX.
Shift: 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe matter at all times.
  • Knowledge on shipping and receiving is a plus.
  • Checking in drivers and driver’s documents and paperwork.
  • Verifying load and inventory sheets and signing a considerable amount of manifest and transportation documents.
  • Creating shipping documents and printing hazardous waste labels for warehouse workers.
  • Data entry and verification of incoming loads and deliveries.
  • Filing, scanning, typing, and other clerical and administrative duties as deemed required by Supervisors.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of related work experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, and Saturdays, and provide coverage where needed.
