Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job at Cerro Fabricated Products LLC
CFP currently has an opening for a first shift Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Regular hours are 9 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday, including any necessary overtime.
Job Details
CFP is searching for an employee with a professional attitude who can effectively manage relationships with internal and external customers. We are looking for a team player who will organize and prioritize efficiently, and as part of the Supply Chain Team, will expand their knowledge and expertise into other areas of the organization.
Basic duties include shipping activities such as:
- Calling carriers to schedule deliveries and pickups
- Creating bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Familiarity with ERP systems and JIT inventory control is preferred but not required
- The ability to maintain accurate records and material certifications is required, along with forwarding of material certifications to customers on an as needed basis
- Other activities necessary to the proper function of the shipping department
Requirements
- Excellent safety record and familiarity with safety in a manufacturing environment
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to safely maneuver a fork truck
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
