The Shift Leader position fulfills the manager’s responsibilities in the manager’s absence. Will help with running the bakery and coordinating the departments of baking, decorating, and guest services. In addition, assists the manager with handling team member issues. This person is a key carrier. Teamwork and guest services are top priorities. Cross training in each department is required.

Requirements

• Able to work in Shreveport
• Management Experience: minimum of 1 years experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of guest service.
• Computer skills: experienced with Microsoft® Word, general computer knowledge.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and an understanding of and ability to assist in implementing a team approach in the bakery.
• Some merchandising skills helpful.
• Cash register skills necessary.
• Time management skills, and an ability to handle a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising all employees in every phase of product preparation and guest service.
• Motivate employees to achieve maximum effectiveness.
• Provide team member training according to company guidelines and cross-train employees so they are able to perform multiple functions.
• Reconcile all cash transactions and make bank deposits.
• Guest relations and assistance.
• Day-to-day staffing.
• Monitor inventories.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Maintain the safety and security of the bakery and the team.
• Anticipate potential problems and problem solve.
• Uphold Nothing Bundt Cakes’ image, brand, and culture.
• Exceed guests’ expectations.
• Service - Service - Service.
