Position Overview:

As Shift Leader, you will support the Store Manager by managing all aspects of the

shifts you are working.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example as a working member of the team, performing all job duties and tasks to ensure our team is delivering the best products and customer experiences
  • Complete opening / closing duties, and deploy team to accomplish all shop tasks and checklists during shifts
  • Ensure the shop is clean, inviting and in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols
  • Play a key role in ensuring product integrity by ensuring standards are being upheld during service
  • Effectively respond to customer questions and complaints providing appropriate resolution and follow up - reporting and escalating customer issues if needed to the GM
  • Report any performance issues with team members to the GM for follow up and appropriate resolution
  • Be aware of labor budget goals and manage volume shifts to meet the needs of the shop
  • Monitor ice cream and supplies inventory, work with GM to secure necessary supplies, commodities, and equipment to keep the shop functioning at 100%
  • Embrace and communicate our company culture and values with team members to drive exceptional experiences to both our customers and other team members
  • Assist with receiving orders and completing weekly and monthly inventory on an as needed basis

Requirements:

  • Must be 21+ and have open availability for scheduling 4-5 days per week working 25 + hours (days, nights, weekends and holidays are required)
  • Management and or customer service experience (1-2 years)
  • Strong work ethic and desire to go above and beyond
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Leads by example and excels in a team environment
  • Is creative, resourceful, and organized
  • Excellent problem solver who takes ownership to find solutions as challenges arise
  • Is detail oriented
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
