Shear Operator Job at Spray Systems, Inc.
Since 1979, Spray Systems has established itself as a leader in paint spray booth design, manufacturing and installation across the country. Our clients include Goodrich Aerospace, Fleetwood, John Deere and Earl Scheib, among other industry leaders. We seek an experienced Shear Operator to join our Production Team. They have the responsibility to shear all the sheet- metal components for our booths, ranging in size and complexity from standard booth enclosures to custom booth enclosures that service our large manufacturing clients (where such booths can be as large as 8,000 square feet or more).
Successful candidate will have more than 5 years of experience, and able to achieve the following;
· You will match material to a shear list
· Transfer material by forklift
· Clean and prep shear
· Shear with minimum drop (scrap)
· Proof shearing
· Transfer sheared materials
This job requires that you have good communications skills, be a quality team player – collaborative, skillful– and be able to produce a high volume of work, fast, accurately and on-time. And because of the fast pace of the Team, it means that you must be organized to meet the demands as a team player on our Production Team.
Overall, for you, shearing all required components on-time and accurately, by working well with your Production and Engineering Team members.
