We are looking to hire a part-time resident service provider for our property located in Carmel Valley, SD. This position is ideal for a self-motivator who enjoys helping others. You will be tasked with operating the after-school program; helping school-age children with their homework, as well as the occasional activity. The position will also assist with adult education events in the role of on-site events coordinator.
A successful candidate will:
- Be innovative and enjoy helping others.
- Be a high school graduate.
- Be willing to take a background check.
- Be responsive in communications with both management and volunteers·
- Be willing to interact with residents in the form of outreach
This is a part-time position offering upwards of 40 hours a month. Hours for the after school program are approximately 3:00-5:00, Monday-Friday but may vary depending on holidays and attendance. Your role as coordinator will call for an additional 7 hours a month. Compass for Affordable Housing will work closely with you to provide needed materials, etc. A highly rewarding job opportunity, you will be assisting others in a helpful and interactive position. This position pays $18.00 an hour and will start as soon as possible.
