ManTech is seeking a Application Engineer Developer to support our operations in Norfolk. Opportunity for remote work!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures.
  • Identifies and captures relevant information, integrates data from different sources, and identifies root cause of problems.
  • Design and Build ServiceNow platform and asset management capabilities to meet mission needs.
  • Support operations and provide Tier 3 support for prevalent ServiceNow modules.
  • Design and build more detailed ServiceNow reporting for customer use cases.
  • Conduct appropriate analysis and ensure calls that are unable to be resolved are appropriately forwarded to escalated product support.
  • Provide expert product capabilities and design input into solution design, build, and test activities and documentation.
  • Support process workflow and tracking through the utilization of Agile 2.0.

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the implementation, operations, and management of Service Now and host infrastructure
  • Certified System Admin (CSA) in ServiceNow
  • Must know how to set up integrations between ServiceNow and Legacy Applications.
  • Experience with how to set up MID servers to facilitate integration.
  • Experience with key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions, including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS.
  • Must have built custom applications in ServiceNow
  • Development/scripting experience in ServiceNow
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in ServiceNow
  • Minimum 2 Years’ experience with App Engine development
  • Demonstrated ability to create reports from ServiceNow
  • Working knowledge of database functionality and optimization
  • Strong analytical skills to enable effective troubleshooting
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server 2012/2016
  • Knowledge of Service Now APIs
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, security standards
  • Knowledge of integrated security system architecture
  • Core competency of network design concepts and operation
  • Experience with general IT security concepts, network security and monitoring practices/methodologies

Certifications:

  • CAD
  • CSA
  • Preferred, but not required: Implementer, and/or CMA (Certified Master Architect)

The projected compensation range for this position is $93,500-$105,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
