We are seeking a talented Service Writer to join our fast growing team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the responsibilities of the position are as follows:

Job responsibilities:

Setting, confirming and preparing for appointments with customers to expedite their service experience

Greeting customers in a timely and friendly manner and recording and relaying their concerns to the technician working on the unit

Provide quote to customer for recommended service work (i.e. total repair time, what needs to be fixed and why, total cost of repair, and estimated time to completion); receive authorization from customer to proceed; and then assign work to a technician

Communicating frequently with Technicians and Parts Managers to ensure timely completion of work

Process paper work in a timely manner

Deliver consistent and timely follow-up with customers regarding the status of their units

Answer office phones throughout the day

File customer paperwork

Job requirements:

At least 2 years of experience working as a Service Writer/Coordinator at a high volume auto or truck dealership or a Leasing Company

Solid Microsoft Excel & Word skills

Good communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and multi-task effectively

Strong follow-up skills

Professional appearance and strong work ethic
