New York Bus Sales, the largest authorized Blue Bird School Bus dealership in New York State currently has an immediate opening for a Service Technician in our Greene, NY location. Do you have what it takes to be part of the best school bus service team in NY?
New York Bus Sales is a full-service dealership offering sales, service, parts, and graphics. We provide safe, dependable buses for our customers and professional services to meet their needs.
The Service Tech position facilitates everything from prepping a bus to major repairs. These job assignments will be based on the level of experience and knowledge. We are looking to fill several roles throughout our company to help with our continued growth.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Understand DOT requirements for School and Commercial buses.
Read and understand work orders as to what is required on the bus.
Modify each bus, if necessary, to meet DOT and customer specifications about seat placement, air systems, chassis, and body.
Diagnose and repair buses based on customer information and approved repair practices.
Required Qualifications Include:
Knowledge of DOT requirements for commercial and school vehicles is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Read and understand DOT and Blue Bird specification sheets.
Basic computer knowledge.
Have your own hand tools.
CDL A or B license with P endorsement preferred
Full-time, Monday thru Friday, Day shift.
